American Wave is a revolutionary salon service using modern ionic waving lotion and editorial hair setting techniques to create a variety of permanent textures for clients. You can see the full list of dates, here.	About American Wave Certification American Wave is Thio and Ammonia free. It is positively charged (so it attracts to the hair shaft, rather than repel it), and uses modern ionic waving lotion. The system uses 'soft tools' to reduce the stress on the hair, as well as a specialized lotion that reconditions the hair for a smoother cuticle and natural wave movement. On a combination of live models and mannequins, Single User Certification class attendees learn -- through demonstration and hands-on work -- three American Wave techniques... The Beach Wave Technique: Learn to marry straight and wavy textures and create the sexy, tousled beach waves that are the zeitgeist of fashion, trend, and style. The Style Support Technique: Learn to add volume and texture to hair that lacks life and vitality by creating a resilient consistent wave that is perfect style support for blow-dries and hot-tools. The Expanded Waves & Curls Technique: Learn to maximize volume and texture and movement to create buoyant, resilient and dynamic wave and curl patterns that are fabulous and full. Once certified, you are entitled to purchase American Wave products. We offer a special Intro Kit to newly certified stylists. The intro kit costs $321.95, and includes: 12 American Waves product packages, 9-Soft Tool packs, and 1 American Wave Educational DVD.
