American Wave is a revolutionary salon service using modern ionic waving lotion and editorial hair setting techniques as means to create a variety of permanent textures for clients. As the inventors of American Wave, we train and certify stylists from across America who wish to perform this service. Only certified stylists have access to American Wave products, tools, and techniques. The next single-user certification date is June 17th at ARROJO Academy, NYC. About American Wave Certification American Wave is Thio and Ammonia free. It is positively charged (so it attracts to the hair shaft, rather than repel it), and uses modern ionic waving lotion. The system uses 'soft tools' to reduce the stress on the hair, as well as a specialized lotion that reconditions the hair for a smoother cuticle and natural wave movement. On a combination of live models and mannequins, Single User Certification class attendees learn -- through demonstration and hands-on work -- three American Wave techniques... The Beach Wave Technique: Learn to marry straight and wavy textures and create the sexy, tousled beach waves that are the zeitgeist of fashion, trend, and style.
