About ARROJO Cosmetology School

ARROJO Cosmetology provides exceptional education to each student: A well-rounded program of insight and inspiration so you graduate with a phenomenal skill set that paves the way for lifelong achievement.

The course covers all New York State Board requirements, with curriculum highlights including the nine ARROJO haircuts all students must learn. This is a specific system of cutting developed and practiced by ARROJO, with all of the cuts -- classic one-length bob with bangs, layered bob, graduated bob; classic graduation, rounded graduation, tight graduation; classic square layer, classic long layer, and classic round layer -- exploring geometric yet organic shapes.

These techniques give hairdressers the ability to improve all their cuts from the most simple to the most dynamic. This is the foundation and definition of the ARROJO approach to modern and creative, precision-based hairstyling. It's what our salon apprentices must master. It's what we preach to fellow stylists when we're on the road at international hair and beauty shows. It's one of the key things we teach at our advanced education seminars. And it's what our students are learning as they work to master their new craft. It's a cutting system to match our own exacting standards.

The state-of-the-art school is located in SoHo, Manhattan's epicenter of fashion, trend, and style. You'll find motivation all around you, while our intimate, small-class-numbers only facility is the perfect place for your work to flourish.

The September 12th start date is for the full-time program. With classes Monday-Friday, 9-5. It means graduating students will be fully licensed and employable by April 2012.
