A class to unlock true creative potential, Razor Advanced highlights ultramodern, trendsetting, and sophisticated razor-cutting techniques. Over three days, master stylists demos show how to texturize, create swinging bangs, and panel cut; how to to form both geometric and rounded shapes; how to create a weightless line with swing and movement; how to cut rounded bangs; how to undercut; and how to use a razor when working close to the roots. After each demo, attendees practice these techniques in workshops that guide towards increased hairdressing flexibility, more creative freedom, and boosted confidence -- all while razor work becomes increasingly modern, cool, and sexy

Classic Cuts 2, July 10-12, ARROJO Academy, NYC

The study of classic scissor-cutting techniques, applied to geometric yet organic shapes. Over three days, attendees watch, practice, master three cuts that improve technical precision, creative awareness and versatility. Relearning the Classic Long Layer shows the right approach for layering from the front to create maximum face-framing shape, while retaining weight and structure through the back. Relearning the Classic Round Graduation shows how to create a perfectly rounded layer shape, elegantly crafted from the front. And relearning Classic Short Graduation shows techniques for creating an ultra-tight nape, and a pronounced head shape -- the fundamentals of all short hair cutting.
