Enrollment for the April 12, 2010, class start date is now open. Apply and you can be a fully licensed cosmetologist, and ready to start a career at the top, before the end of the year.
About the Curriculum:
The course covers all New York State Board requirements, with curriculum highlights including a specific system of cutting--developed and practiced by ARROJO--all students must learn. These cuts explore the fundamentals of successful hairdressing and include classic shapes such as bobs, one-length lines, graduation, layering, alongside men's haircutting and advanced razor-cutting techniques.
As the school adjoins ARROJO studio, a portion of the students' time is also dedicated to guest lectures and demos from Nick Arrojo and fellow master stylists from this multi-award-winning salon. The goal is to connect each student to the insights, experience and expertise of a world-class team and provide a platform for success whether the student wants to go forward into the salon, into education, or into editorial and fashion-related work.
And as one of the industry's leading brands, we also provide unique opportunities for our students. At the International Beauty Show (IBS, March 7-9, NYC), for example, the winner of a school-wide student trend vision competition will have the honor of presenting their model, alongside Nick Arrojo, live on main-stage at IBS.
