The Duality of Color
Presented by James Edick and Abbey Theis, the creative force of the ARROJO color team, this is chance to get the inside track on ARROJO's world-class approach to this intrinsic element of the craft.
The Duality of Color looks at two key elements of a colorists' work. Part one is the concept of coloring the cut. It means looking at the movement of the hair, natural parting and fall, through the eyes of a cutter, to put brightness and pop in the perfect position. Part two examines how the unique nature of hair coloring can enable increased creativity. In side-by-side demos, James shows how to use innovative but technical foil patterns, while Abbey shows how to paint the color onto the hair, freestyle. The end results illustrate how different techniques can create the same finish. A class to inspire increased versatility, and a contemporary approach to crafting perfect styles and authentic colors.

Expo Day One is all about inspiration: In a series of chic runway shows, ARROJO master stylists and global guest artists feature the latest trend forecasts, pioneering techniques, and newest innovations in modern scissor and razor cutting, creative and fashion-forward color. This is a lofty and rarefied close-up of the way world-class stylists create tomorrow's most desirable looks.
As part of day one, there will be a post show get together with party entry, food and drink included in the ticket price. This is opportunity to meet new people, make connections, have fun, and celebrate Expo with one big jamboree.
Expo Day Two is all about hands-on education: There are lots of different workshops, each covering a different aspect of a hairdressers work. As a ticket-holder, you can choose which workshop you want to attend.
