"I will be facilitating this two-day seminar myself, with the support of fellow educators from ARROJO to ensure our ratio of 1 educator per 6 students, and our intimate, hands-on approach to learning, remains the same.
Razor Fundamentals shows you how to master the straight edge blade and is perfect for inexperienced razor-cutters or any stylist who wants to ground their own razor-cutting in strong technique. Over the two days you'll learn to razor-cut a one-length line, shape a graduated razor-cut, and layer effectively with your razor. Each day begins with a demo before you practice these techniques in hands-on, mannequin workshops. Razor Fundamentals improves technique and precision, and gives you a platform to take your creative edge to the next level. - Nick Arrojo

This is the first of a new wave of ARROJO Education Seminars. Called 'Underground' the idea is a future of small, intimate, and personalized seminars that promote the value of education at locations across the country, and in association with our new ARROJO Ambassador Salons
The first of these is a cooperative with Oya Salon, Monterey, California. As we look to reach out to the whole hairdressing community, the event is open to all and will feature Nick and Lina Arrojo presenting two hair cuts from the new ARROJO collection.
Held at a lounge bar, it will be a casual, laid-back, but highly edifying affair, allowing you to get up close and personal with two of the industry's leading lights, Nick Arrojo, Behind the Chair Magazine's Platform Artist of the Year, 2009, 2010, and Lina Arrojo, creator of the ARROJO Underground Collections.
Our commitment for this event is to share insights and ideas, trends and techniques that will educate and inspire each stylist to new levels craftsmanship and creativity.
